Mission Statement
The mission of the Arts Community of Easton, ACE, is to encourage and promote the arts of all disciplines, to foster an appreciation of the arts, and enrich the quality of life of the Easton area by offering arts education opportunities and community programming.

ACE was founded in 1999 by artists, business owners, art institution representatives, and art lovers, seeking an organization for arts education programs, exhibitions, workshops, information dispersal, and networking. Located at the confluence of the Delaware and Lehigh Rivers, Easton, Pennsylvania is just a short ride from New York City and Philadelphia. Because of this, Easton has been a magnet for artists who are looking for a place to work and live. Easton is a city where one can enjoy the benefits of living close to the most important art centers in the US, without having to endure the high costs of living associated with these metropolitan centers. Since the 1980's many artists have joined with long time artists in making Easton their home. ACE has become a vital force in the movement to create a vibrant arts community in the Easton area. |

ACE creates opportunities which invite community involvement, and presents educational opportunities by organizing exhibitions, classes and workshops, an annual studio tour, and public mural projects. ACE also initiates and participates in area activities which enrich the artistic life of the community, working with the community, and underserved groups identified by local agencies. ACE recognizes that a thriving community of artists is essential to accomplishing these goals, thus fosters artists in education and professional development and provides a venue for communication with peers, schools, arts organizations, and local government. |
